This is a reminder that Early Voting has started for the Democratic Primary Election and will continue until Friday, May 25th. For more information about locations and times please go to the Tarrant County Elections Website. Election Day will be on Tuesday, May 29th.

We are very pleased to announce that our guest speaker will be State Senator Wendy Davis who represents Senate District 10. TCYD April Social Event

The Tarrant County Young Democrats would like to invite everyone to our April social event on Friday, April 27th at 7:00 p.m. at the Golf Center of Arlington which is located at 1301 NE Green Oaks Blvd.

The cost for 18 holes of miniature golf at the Golf Center of Arlington is only $6 and the cost for 36 holes is only $9.

This past weekend at the 2012 TYD State Convention, TCYD was given the Barbara Jordon Chapter Leadership Award. We want to thank all of our members for making this past year a success, and we look forward to an even better year in 2012.

2012 TCDP Senate District Conventions

The Tarrant County Young Democrats are encouraging all of our members to attend the 2012 Tarrant County Senate District Conventions, which will be this Saturday, April 21st at 10 a.m. (registration will start at 8:00 a.m.). This year the conventions will be held at Trimble Tech High School, which is located at 1003 W. Cannon Street in Fort Worth. For more information, please visit the TCDP website.

March Social Event

This month the Tarrant County Young Democrats’ monthly social event will be a community outreach event. On Saturday, March 24th will be going to the Tarrant County Food Bank to help them with several projects that they will be doing that day. We have been asked to carpool to the event so we will be meeting at the TCDP Headquarters (2806 Race St) at 9 a.m. Afterwards, we will be going somewhere to have lunch and socialize.
